Resistance and Denial
After drinking until he was drunk, Yeping starts seeing his previous life as Gu Liufang in his dream. He murmurs “Zixuan” during his sleep, and wakes up shocked seeing himself in bed with Zixuan watching him. She teases him for dreaming about her which he denies and quickly composes himself. He tries hard to resist her advances but a great deal of attraction now exists. Still, he tries hard to disregard these emotions.
