No matter how hard he tried, Yeping fell hard for Zixuan. He could not stop thinking about her which eventually lead him back to her tavern night after night. Zixuan continues to torment herself while Yeping consistently tries to stop her. Hopelessly in love and unable to shake off these feelings, he eventually stops lying to himself. He runs to a large bell and hits it very hard, getting everyone’s attention. He confesses his love for her and insists he will take her as his wife!
