In her room
Changqing had a few too many drinks and woke up the next morning in Zi Xuan’s room. Zi Xuan is smiling at him as he awakes and he quickly realises he was stripped naked in her bed! Feeling extremely distraught and ashamed by what had happened, he continually apologisies, thinking he had taken advantage of her. He promises her he’ll take responsibility. Zi Xuan plays along, thinking he would take her as his wife, but instead he offered to kill himself. Disappointed and frustrated by his logic and wooden personality, she admits nothing had happened between them. Changqing is relieved upon learning the truth, and promptly leaves, feeling confused and guilty.
